When the club was first formed it was under the name of Neasden Boxing Club taking over from the prestigious and historic club based in the Kingfisher Youth Centre known as Kingfisher ABC.
However, Xavier and Nicholas wanted to bring these illustrious times back to the historic club and started Neasden with the intentions of bringing boxing back to a community and helping young people pave a way for themselves.
After operating for a couple years, Xavier and Nicholas always received comments about the intelligence of their fighters.
Thus the birth of IQ Boxing an organisation set up by the two many years before Neasden was started.
IQ was the brain child of the two which encompassed their background in education with their love of the sport of boxing. This led to the merging of the two to form IQ Neasden Boxing Club.
